I was sorry to hear of the problems encountered at Southend Hospital by G Strobridge. However, I cannot let this pass without mentioning my own experiences over the past 15 years with the hospital.
On my visits I have found the appointment system, courtesy and cleanliness all to be first class.
I have been treated at accident and emergency for a sudden heart fault, and, again, could not fault the service.
Mr Strobridge should be reminded that by going private he sees the same doctors that serve the NHS.
If he is not satisfied by the cleanliness of the NHS hospital toilets, there are notices in there and he only has to pass on his comments.
I thank all those working at Southend Hospital – keep up the good work!
