A Canvey man has been charged with burglary and theft from a motor vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation.
An investigation was launched on October 13 following reports of a theft and a burglary which occurred overnight at an address on Linden Way in Canvey Island.
On Thursday, November 30 , officers arrested a man in connection with this investigation.
Tariq Aguis, 21 of Linden Way, Canvey has since been charged with theft from a motor vehicle and burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
He will appear a Southend Magistrates Court on Friday, December 1.
