SPY any familiar faces here?
If you're in one of these photographs the chances are you're in your twenties or even thirties now.
The images were all taken in 2001 by our team of talented Echo snappers. But that's about all we know!
The photos were on a bundle of discs that have recently resurfaced after 19 years.
Hadleigh-based historian Andrew Summers has been trawling though them for us and he's found plenty of wonderful images from the turn of the new millennium to share with our readers.
Who's that? - this little boy seemed happy to pose!
They show youngsters across the Echo patch in a variety of poses.
If you've forgotten what 2001 was like- or hanker to go back to those days- here's a little reminder.
Labour's Tony Blair was Prime Minister, Sven-Göran Eriksson was the new England manager and the first Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was proving to be magic at the box office.
Hats of to these two - were these girls appearing in a school or theatre production?
On July 9 of this year our Southend homegrown EastEnders, and now Strictly Come Dancing, star Maisie Smith was also born.
Lion king - was this taken at a fete or carnival?
Behind bars - had these little girls committed some sort of mischief misdemeanor?
Sadly there were several tragedies in this year- the September 11 attacks, the foot and mouth disease crisis and the Selby rail disaster.
