A teenager had his electric scooter stolen and was threatened to be stabbed in an attack.
Police have launched an investigation after a teenager had his electric scooter stolen on Canvey, while the perpetrator, reported to be a boy aged between 16 and 17, threatened to stab him.
A knife was not seen at the scene, on Long Road, and nobody was hurt in the attack last month.
The victim was riding the scooter along Long Road when another teenager approached him on a pushbike.
The attacker, who police say was wearing an all grey tracksuit, with a light grey baseball cap, and grey shoes, unsuccessfully "tried to engage" with the victim, before stealing the scooter and riding in the direction of Canvey Road.
Essex Police has also said the stolen scooter is described as being mostly black, with a red geometric pattern and a white bell on the left side of the handle bars.
