There’s still plenty of time to top up the tan – as temperatures are set to hit dizzy heights of 31 degrees this week.
Forecasters expect the summer's heatwave to continue with plenty of sunshine and sweltering heat – great news for those sun worshippers amongst us.
From tomorrow, Tuesday, we’ll see the heat rise as we begin with temperatures of 23 degrees – which is very pleasant. There’ll be long spells of endless sunshine – so it's time to book the week off work.
By Thursday the mercury will be hitting 29 degrees with a largely dry and hot day with plenty of sunny spells. Friday will see another fine, summers day with a good deal of sunshine and temperatures reaching a very warm 31 degrees.
The weekend is also set to be another fine, dry and hot one with 31 degrees forecasted for Saturday, along with lots of glorious summers sun - perfect for barbecues and garden gathering... socially distanced of course.
Sunday will be a bit cooler – still with very nice temperatures of 26 degrees.
