A man has died after reportedly falling from a bridge in Southend.
Essex Police have now issued an update on the incident, which took place at the Queensway bridge earlier this afternoon.
Officers have sadly confirmed a man died at the scene after falling from the bridge.
Emergency services rushed to Warrior Square around 12.54pm today, with air ambulance crews and police officers spotted attending the incident.

Queensway remains closed in both directions between Victoria Avenue and Sutton Road, with drivers being advised to avoid the area where they can.
A spokesperson from Essex Police, said: "We have closed Queensway in Southend after a man was reported to have fallen from a bridge.
"Sadly the man died at the scene. We continue to carry out enquiries to establish the circumstances around the incident."
UPDATE:
The incident has now been cleared and Queensway has re-opened.
