FUEL storage company Oikos is playing a vital role supporting the UK during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ships have been coming and going from the site on Canvey, but the rare sight of both the company’s ships docked has been pictured.
The foreground vessel is the Hafnia Soya, from Primorsk, in Russia, and another visiting vessel is the Caroline Essberger, from Rotterdam.
The ships transport fuel around the country.
Tony Woodward, general manager, said: “We’ve been working extremely hard to ensure fuels that are essential to the ongoing running of key public services and the transport for key workers during this very difficult time gets to where it needs to be as efficiently and safely as it can.”
