TWO people have been dealt with by police after a raid in Southend.

Essex Police responded to reports of persistent anti-social behaviour and suspected drug use at a house in Stornoway Road, Southend.

A spokesman for the police said: "Officers carried out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Friday May 29.

"We issued community protection notices to a man and woman both aged in their 50s.

"We’ll continue to monitor the situation.

"If you are concerned about persistent anti-social behaviour in your neighbourhood please tell us.

"This allows us to build up a picture of what’s happening and take appropriate action."
