More parking bays and even footopaths could be shut, as authorities deal with people not obeying social distancing rules.
Southend Council is considering further parking measures in Ness Road, Shoebury and also shutting Cinder Path, between Chalkwell station and Old Leigh.
Council bosses say it comes as residents refused to keep away from the town and seafront over the weekend. Police are asking Cinder Path be closed over the Easter weekend.
