I HAD got wind the glittery party bus was on an outback road trip, so I grabbed my sequins and huge wigs and settled in.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert roared into the Cliffs Pavilion with all the glitter and fabulousness you’d expect from the well-known musical hit.

As a Priscilla virgin, well kind of, I had no idea what I would be expecting. But it was everything and more, full of smut - something I love - amazing routines, sets and out of this world costumes.

Holby City and Strictly favourite Joe McFadden led the show in style, as Tick and alter ego Mitzi. He was more than impressive.

The gorgeous Nick Hayes, as Adam and queen Felicia, showed off his incredible muscular body with so much confidence, and received plenty of attention and woos in his naughty but nice outfits. His vocals were breath-taking, filling the auditorium to the roof.

Transgender Bernadette was played by Miles Western who more than stood his own, also with incredible vocals and stage presence.

Most amusing, of course, was Jacqui Sanchez, playing Cynthia, an ex-show girl made mechanic’s wife. She received roaring laughing and applause for her routine, most expected in far east bars and clubs.

Shooting pink pong balls from her [insert unprintable word here] the audience was in hysterical laugher.

The whole theatre erupted at the end with everyone on their feet, cheering and dancing.

What a great night! It’s only here a week – do not miss out!
