A 19-year-old has been airlifted to hospital after his motorbike collided with a lorry in Dartford, leaving him with serious injuries.

Kent Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or have CCTV of the vehicles prior to the collision to get in touch.

According the police, a motorbike was travelling along London Road, Stone, going towards Dartford around 10pm on Thursday, February 20.

The motorbike reportedly collided with a lorry on London Road, leaving a male teenager with serious injuries.

Officers, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, and the 19-year-old was airlifted to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The investigating officer, PC James Galbraith from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said in a statement: "We would like to hear from any witnesses to the incident and any residents in the area who may have CCTV that covers the road.

"We are also appealing to drivers who were travelling along London Road at that time who may have dashcam footage of the motorcycle prior to the collision."
