POLICE are hunting for a man after reports of a man spitting at a taxi driver's face.
The incident, which happened outside the Jolly Friar pub, in Whitmore Way Basildon, reportedly involved a man spitting on the taxi driver's face at 11pm on December 28.
A spokesman for Essex Police, said: "Do you recognise this man?
"Anyone with information is asked to call Basildon police station on 101 quoting crime reference 42/204190/19 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

We would like to talk to him following reports a taxi driver was assaulted by a man who spat in his face.
