A TEENAGER has appeared in court following two robberies in Leigh.
The 16-year-old boy was charged with two counts of possession of a knife in a public place and robbery and attempted robbery.
The incidents both took place on Tuesday, January 14, at the Eastwood Convenience store, in Rayleigh Road, at around 7.30pm, and Cambridge News, in Eastwood Road North, just before 8pm.
A 16 year-old boy was arrested on January 17 and later charged.
He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on January 18.
