A TEENAGER has died following a collision between a cyclist and a van on Saturday.
Devon and Cornwall Police said that emergency services were called to Tubbon Hill near Stithians at 1.45pm following the collision.
Paramedics from South Western Ambulance Service Trust attended, along with officers and staff from the police.
A spokesperson for the police said on Sunday morning: "Tragically a teenager, local to the Truro area, died on scene as a result of their injuries.
"Local police officers, operations department officers and officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene. The road was closed in order to carry out full investigation, including a forensic examination.
"Police are requesting that any witnesses with any information and or dash camera footage please come forward, unless they have already been in contact with officers at the scene."
The police incident number is 391 of December 28.
