MAN has denied a series of sex attacks.
T-Jay Arrindell has been charged with attempted rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
The 25-year-old, dressed in a white shirt and navy jumper, stood in the dock at Basildon Crown Court today, where he spoke only to confirm his identity and deny the charges.
The three alleged incidents are said to have taken place in Essex.
The case will now go to trial, and this will be held at the same court on May 11 next year.
Speaking to Arrindell, Judge Samantha Leigh said: “Your trial will take place on May 11 next year. You must make sure you keep in contact with your solicitors so they can put together your defence on your behalf.
“You must ensure you are here for your trial, as if you do not show up that will be an offence, and it may take place in your absence.
“It is likely in that case that you would be convicted as the jury would not hear your side of the story.”
Arrindell, of Cabborns Crescent, Stanford-le-Hope, has denied all charges.
The trial next year is estimated to last between two and three days.
