Remanded in prison custody
A MAN is due to appear at court for attempted murder following a stabbing in South Benfleet.
Antonio Betancor-Lopez, 43, of Trinity Road, Southend, has been summonsed to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Monday, November 11 after previously appearing at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 14.
He has been remanded in prison custody.
It follows reports that a man received a stab wound to the chest while parked in Eastleigh Road at around 3.35am on Saturday, March 16.
