Home Instead Senior Care will be expanding their team of caregivers, providing Basildon with an injection of new job opportunities.

With new figures showing there will be over 12 million people in the UK aged over 66 by 2025, the company has responded to this need by increasing its care staff.

Home Instead owner Mr Khan said, “The way in which we operate is unique and allows us to offer a different working environment for our caregivers. For example, we match clients and caregivers – according to common areas of interest or life experience so that there is an immediate connection.

“Our care visits are of a minimum duration of one hour, ensuring our clients acquire the best quality of care while providing our caregivers with high levels of job satisfaction,” he added.

“We have people needing immediate care and so we are very keen to encourage more local people to consider this career path. If you share our values, have a caring nature and are flexible to the changing needs of our clients, please do get in touch.”

Carers will be given initial training which will help them to obtain the nationally accredited Care Certificate. This could then help caregivers progress to achieve other skills and qualifications with the company, such as the Dementia Care Training Programme.
