Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious collision north of Carlisle.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on the road between Harker Road End and Rockcliffe at about 5.10pm, near the railway bridge.
There were four occupants in the vehicle, but the severity of their injuries is currently unconfirmed.
The road is currently closed for collision investigation inquiries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the incident.
In particular, they would like to speak to the occupants of a vehicle that stopped nearby, shortly after the crash, to find out what they may have witnessed.
Call 101 with information and ask to speak to Sgt 2240 Radzan, quoting incident number 175 of September 22.
