Man due in court after police chase ended in crash
A man is due to appear in court in October where he is due to be charged in connection with an incident where a car failed to stop for officers.
A white Ford Transit van failed to stop in High Road, Pitsea at around 4.45pm on 2 April.
Police chased the vehicle for a short time before it was involved in a collision in Chevers Pawen.
James Dundon, 19, of Wickford Avenue, Basildon has been summonsed to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on 17 October where he is due to be charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop when directed, driving without insurance, and driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
