Man to appear in court following knife-point robbery
A MAN is due in court today following reports of a knife-point robbery in Basildon.
James Dundon, 19, of Wickford Avenue, Basildon, is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
It follows reports at around 5.45pm on Wednesday August 14 that a teenager was threatened with a knife in Vernons Walk before handing over his bank card, PIN number and wallet.
Police arrested a man at around 11.35am the following day.
