Man due in court after reports lone woman was accosted in Leigh
A man has appeared in court charged with five counts of breach of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Police were called to Broadway, in Leigh, with reports a man had been accosting lone females on Tuesday, August 6.
Awais Kazmi, 31 , of no fixed address, was arrested and charged the same day.
He appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday August 7 and has been remanded in custody to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Wednesday September 4.
Anyone with information should contact Essex Police on 101 quoting incident 276 of August 6.
