STAFF at a bank raised hundreds of pounds for a homeless charity.
The workers at NatWest, High Street, Southend collected the cash for Harp.
The fundraisers then arranged to meet with representatives from the homeless charity for a cheque presentation event.
A charity spokesman said: “Thank you to the staff of NatWest Southend who raised an amazing £284.26 through their cake sale for Harp.
“Every penny raised helps us to support homeless people in the area.”
Harp is the leading Southend charity helping people in the town overcome homelessness.
The charity offers a number of services including meals, health advice, counselling and peer support, access to clothing, washing facilities, a meaningful activities programme, and more.
