TV comedian Romesh Ranganathan makes a surprise visit to Cumbria later this month to test out some new material.
The star of Asian Provocateur, Judge Romesh and Mum’s American Dreamland, his second series of The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan has just started on BBC2.
He is appearing at the CarnegieTheatre, Workington, on August 22 with a show titled Work In Progress before his next tour which starts in September.
The former Maths teacher burst onto the comedy circuit in 2010 with his deadpan humour, reaching the Latitude New Act Final 2010, The So You Think You’re Funny? Final 2010 as well as coming runner up in The Amused Moose Laugh Off 2010. Since then, he has become a TV regular and sold out tours.
