Playing for Tottenham Hotspur - former Southend United goalkeeper Ted Smith
FORMER Southend United goalkeeper Ted Smith lined up between the sticks for Tottenham Hotspur’s under 23 team at Ebbsfleet United this afternoon.
The former King John School pupil, who represented England in his youth, was released by the Shrimpers at the end of last season.
But 23-year-old Smith, who made 30 appearances for Blues has been training with Spurs this week and was selected for today’s friendly which ended in a 2-2 draw.
