SOUTHEND United striker Brandon Goodship is bracing himself for a ‘weird’ return to Weymouth tonight.
The 24-year-old striker scored 75 goals in two seasons with the Dorset club before signing for the Shrimpers earlier this summer.
And Goodship will find it strange facing his former team this evening.
“I’m not sure I’ve ever been in the visiting dressing room so it’s going to be a bit weird going back as an opposition player,” said Goodship.
“I had two good seasons there and it gave me the chance to play regular football, which is actually what I needed.
“I’ve managed to get back into full-time football with Southend but I’m looking forward to going back to Weymouth.”
