FIRE crews had to cut free a passenger from a car after a crash in Basildon.
The crash, involving two vehicles, took place in Markhams Chase in the town at around 7.26pm on Tuesday.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for Essex Fire Service said: "Fire crews worked with paramedics to release one casualty trapped in their vehicle.
"The casualty were released by 8.45pm and left in the care of the Ambulance Service."
