FUNDRAISING former football players and celebs are set to join forces to raise cash for a children’s charity.

A CHILDREN’S charity is holding a fundraising celebrity football match.

Little Haven’s Hospice, Thundersley, will host the event on Sunday at Aveley Football Club’s Parkside Stadium.

Coaches from children’s football academy, Baby Ballers, will be taking on a celebrity team including ex-West Ham player Jack Collison and more.

The event is being held following the success of last year’s charity football match.

Other members of the celebrity team include former professional footballer Leroy Lita as well as Towie stars Dan Osborn and Harry Lee.

The 2016’s Big Brother winner, Jason Burrill will be there to cheer the teams on, as will Hollywood stuntman and original red Power Ranger Adam Richards, plus Little Havens Patron, and Essex singer Arianna Morgan.

Baby Ballers Academy owner Richard Elms said: “Last year’s event took months of planning, but it was such a success we just had to do it again.

“Our Little Havens XI team of coaches and parents from our Baby Ballers classes is now complete.

“We have some great names already confirmed for the opposing team.

“We could make space for any football mad celebrities or ex-pros if they would like to join us on the day and help us make every day count for the children and their families at Little Havens.”

As well as the football match, there will be a penalty shootout, a Nerf target game and a performance by Britain’s Got Talent Dance Group, IMD Legion.

Gates open at 1pm with kick off at 2pm.

Tickets can be bought in advance priced at £6 for adults £3 for children aged between 16 month and 16, with children under 16 months free.

Tickets can also be bought on the door at £10 for adults, and same as online for children between 16 months and 16, and children under this age. The Hospices is building a new adult hospice opposite Priory Park in Southend.
