DRINKING buddies enlisted the help of a go-kart for their bank-holiday weekend pub crawl.
The DIY vehicle, made from a wooden pallet and roller-skates, took the group of happy-go-lucky tree surgeons around on their Friday night out.
Three pints down, the designated driver Carlos Daly navigated East Street in Brighton with workmates Jaiden, Adam, and Geoff.
He said: “I made it for the Rugby Road street party three years ago. It won both the kids and adult races. I haven’t got room to store it at the new house so I thought we’d go out in a blaze of glory.”
Unfortunately, a wheel exploded after a crash on its second run down the central Brighton street.
Mr Foers-Place said they then “released ‘red thunder’ to the people of Brighton”.
