THERE are long queues at Basildon train station this morning, causing lengthy delays for commuters.
Returning after the Bank Holiday, commuters are waiting in queues trailing out of the station and onto the bridge.
It is thought to be caused by some of the ticket offices being shut as well as the training of a new member of staff.
There’s also believed to be queues at Laindon station.
c2c Rail tweeted confirming that the 07:52 Pitsea service to London Fenchurch Street would be terminated early at Barking due to overcrowding.
c2c have been contacted regarding the delays at the station.
We're sorry to say that due to overcrowding, the 07:52 Pitsea to London Fenchurch Street due 08:50 will be terminated at Barking.
