Police are no longer looking for a teen who was wanted in connection with an incident in West Thurrock.
A 17-year-old boy from Chelmsford - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was arrested on Thursday 18 April.
He was charged last night, with three counts of causing grievous bodily harm, one count of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, four counts of administering poison with intent to endanger life or inflict grievous bodily harm, and one count of using or threatening unlawful violence.
The charges are in connection with an incident in which a noxious liquid was thrown at four men on a footbridge between Chafford Hundred train station and intu Lakeside shopping centre on Monday 25 February.
The boy is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court today.
