Transport police have said a man who undressed on a train in front of shocked onlookers has been charged with outraging public decency.
The incident was captured on video by a commuter onboard a train travelling between London and Southend on Friday evening.
The man was removed from the Greater Anglia train at Stratford where he was arrested by the British Transport Police.
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to Stratford station at 5.48pm on February 15, following reports of a naked man defecating on a train from Liverpool Street.
"A 55-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency.
"He has been charged and will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on March 11."
