When I picked up the Echo this week, I experienced sadness, depression and then anger when I read your front page regarding the seven years of hell experienced by the shopkeeper in London Road, Westcliff.
Sadness that anyone should have to put up with this racism and violence, depression that the council and MPs can’t even reply to the shopkeeper's cry for help and anger at the response from the police.
If this shopkeeper has suffered for years why haven’t the police prioritised this as very urgent?
