FROM mozzarella sticks, to macaroni cheese, food fans will be in their element with a festival returns later this year.

Last year more than 2,500 people descended upon the Cheese Fest at Charter Hall.

Now the unusual festival is back – and at a new venue.

This year the event takes place on Saturday, March 2, at Five Lakes in Tolleshunt D’Arcy.

Organisers are promising more vendors, more cheese, more live music and more cooking demonstrations.

On its website Cheesefest says: “You can experience some of the most amazing cheese, cheese based vendors and artisan foods from independent vendors from across the uk.

“This along with amazing cooking demonstrations, live music and a whole host of amazing drinks from our bar.

“Cheese fest uk will be bringing you the uk's and the worlds most amazing cheeses.

“From traditional cheeses to mozzarella sticks, halloumi fries and the most amazing mac and cheese, speak to our amazing artisan traders about the cheese they have and the best pairings.

“Join us for not just amazing food but at each city we will have a great bar and music for you to enjoy during your session.”
