DARREN Manning insists Redbridge will prove tough for Hullbridge Sports to beat.
Sports are flying high in third place in the Essex Senior League standings, while Redbridge are third from bottom ahead of tomorrow’s clash at the Ryan’s Heating Stadium.
But Manning believes playing those fighting for safety are always difficult.
“It will be a very difficult game,” said the Sports boss.
“Since Micky Wetherall went in as manager, he has brought in a few good players.
“They are fighting for their lives and these are the toughest games.
“It’s vital we keep the momentum going from the win over Sawbridgeworth Town and pick up some points.”
Hullbridge go into the fixture having started the year with a thumping 6-1 win over Sawbridgeworth.
And Manning is hoping for a similar performance.
“We were absolutely superb,” added Manning.
“We controlled the first half and then dominated the second half. It was our best performance of the season.”
