A rugby club from South Gloucestershire participated in a charity donation to support a foodbank.
Yate RFC play at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex in the Bristol and District Division 2.
During their match on December 1 and also at their Christmas function the club appealed for all players, supporters and family to bring along donations for the Trussell Trust Foodbank on Station Road.
The club collectively filled two large boxes of items for the foodbank, ready for Christmas.
Yate RFC Chairman Stewart Stacey, Club Secretary Mark Summerville, Club Captain Neil Olive and Vice-Captain Liam Summerville took the donations ahead of the busy festive period.
