A MAN from Canvey has been found guilty of a string of burglaries on the island.
The 21-year-old male, who has not yet been identified by police, was arrested on suspicion of five burglaries, two attempted burglaries and one theft across the island in October and November.
He was found guilty on November 12 and has been remanded in custody until his sentencing
