SEEVIC College celebrated excellent results at its annual graduation ceremony.

A total of 47 students graduated from the Foundation Degree in Early Years and BA (Hons) in Education Studies and Early Years.

The evening at the college’s Seevic campus in Runnymede Chase, Thundersley, also saw speeches delivered by principal Dan Pearson and chief executive officer Lewis Stockwell from the University of Hertfordshire plus Jan Burton, head of higher education.

Speeches were also delivered by exceptional students, including Morgan Parker, who graduated from the BA (Hons) in Education Studies and Early Years, and Joanne Pumfrett, who completed the Foundation Degree in Early Years.

Mr Pearson, addressing the graduates, said: “You now have your qualification which should only be the tip of the iceberg, the beginning of your journey of learning.

“You showed commitment and resilience and that is a key ingredient to success.”

Mr Parker said: “Higher Education has been an unforgettable adventure that has prepared us for our futures.

“These past three years have been the most influential of my life so far and I will cherish the memories made forever.”

An open evening is planned for next Tuesday from 6pm until 8.30pm at the Seevic campus.
