WE recently published a report about a civil action against Squibb Group after its workers were accused of stealing stock from a customer in London.
We would like to make it clear that only the company was being sued for vicarious liability for the acts of its employees.
Neither director John Symons or any of the other directors of the company are named as defendants to that action, as we mistakenly suggested, nor was there any suggestion that the directors had been involved in any unlawful activity.
We are now told by Mr Symons that the action has been withdrawn.
We are happy to put the record straight and we apologise to Mr Symons.
