It’s not everyday that a convoy of 16 tractors takes to the streets for a 35 mile journey from Marks Tey to Chappel.
And while the thought of being stuck behind so many tractors might make some drivers come out in a cold sweat, the event was being held for two brilliant causes.
George Patterson, who organised the Colchester Young Farmers event, said: “It was awesome, it’s certainly not something you see everyday.
“We were doing it for My WiSH and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust which is so important for our industry.
“Most of the drivers were courteous and let us out in convoy at roundabouts but there’s always some who get a bit impatient.”
The convoy travelled through Earls Colne and Coggeshall too.
