THE Managing Director of Solopress, Aron Priest, cycled the Tour de France course to raise money for the Snap charity.
Mr Priest, 45, is also an ambassador for special needs charity Snap. He completed the 280-mile journey and raised £1,000 for the charity. He described the ride on Col Agnel was one of the most terrifying moments of his life.
He said: “From the top there was a storm. I had no shelter and I was exposed to the side of the mountain. It was the charity that kept me going.”
But thankfully, there were locals who helped Mr Priest put his bike back together.
He and his friends also organised a party corner, Beefeater Bend, to celebrate the tour.
Mr Priest is now aiming to raise more than £10,000 for Snap next year.
