PHOTOGRAPHER Niki Cornish is getting ready for her latest exhibition which she says “explores the inner self and the truth of what is happening within”.
“The exhibition is called Silent Stories” explained Niki, from Southchurch, who has been working closely with the local community carrying a huge variety of work over the last eight years, including her work with the TAP gallery, the White Bus film organisation and many solo projects.
She added: “The concept is emotive and it’s based on people who would like to help others, by revealing their own personal and often poignant stories. I hope Silent Stories will raise awareness of the issues people keep deeply buried.”
The exhibition will take place at the Beecroft Gallery, Victoria Avenue, Southend, from May 21 – July 2.
It opens from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am until 5pm.
Admission is free.
