There is further shopping and facilities at the nearby town of Tiptree and also villages of Feering and Kelvedon.

There are mainline railway stations at Kelvedon (2 miles) and further afield Witham (5 miles) which both connect with London Liverpool Street.

Colchester's town centre is surrounded by its Roman Walls and is steeped in history including its Norman Castle.

The town centre provides what of much is expected of a major town with many national retailers and specialist shops and with bars and restaurants catering for most tastes. The town centre also has its own multi screen cinema, the Mercury Theatre and First Sight Art Gallery.

Excellent schooling including the leading grammar schools and further educational facilities are found in the town centre with not only the 6th Form college but Colchester Institute whilst on the eastern outskirts of the town is the University of Essex.

For the commuter Colchester's North station provides mainline services terminating at London Liverpool Street with most journey times scheduled for 50 minutes. For the road user there is also straightforward access leading down to the A12 to the M25 and beyond.

Important information We understand that mains water, electricity and drainage are connected to the property whilst there is an oil fired central heating system.
