LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) WEST BARNES LANE, KT3 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 5) ORDER 2018
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate track renewals and associated works at the Motspur Park Level Crossing on West Barnes Lane, KT3, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. Whilst the works take place no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait, load or unload in West Barnes Lane between a point 20 metres south-west of the Motspur Park level crossing and a point 20 metres north-east of that level crossing;

(b) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. An alternative route for:-

(a) diverted vehicular traffic would be via West Barnes Lane, Claremont Avenue, Burlington Road and West Barnes Lane or vice versa;

(b) pedestrians would be via the adjacent footbridge.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal of the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above.

7. The Order would come into operation at 11.00pm on Friday 21 st September 2018 and remain in force until 6am on Saturday 22nd September 2018.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
BEULAH ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer connection works in Beulah Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works:-

(a) no person will cause or permit any vehicle to :-

(i) enter or proceed in Beulah Road, between its junction with Hartfield Crescent and the southern boundary of No. 40 Beulah Road; or

(ii) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Beulah Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above; and

(b) the one-way working in Beulah Road will be suspended.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Graham Road, Hartfield Road, Kingston Road, Wilton Crescent, Fairlawn Road, Dundonald Road and Hartfield Crescent.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 10th September 2018 with the works anticipated to be finished within 2 weeks. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of three months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
KINGSTON ROAD, WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate gas mains replacement works in Kingston Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict parking in Kingston Road, Wimbledon.
2. During the works-la) no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the

purposes of loading or unloading, in Kingston Road, Wimbledon, the north side, from a point opposite the eastern wall of No. 19 Kingston Road to the western wall of No. 23 Kingston Road; (b) the length of parking place located in the section of Kingston Road described in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in sub­paragraphs 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any authorised vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order will come into operation on Friday 31st August 2018 with the works anticipated to be finished within 8 weeks. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of three months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
MONTAGUE ROAD AND PELHAM ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at Nos. 32-34 Pelham Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Montague Road and Pelham Road.

2. During the works, no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-

(i) Pelham Road, the south side, between the eastern boundary of No. 32 Pelham Road and its junction with Montague Road; or

(ii) Montague Road, the east side, between the southern boundary of Nos. 32-34 Pelham Road and its junction with Pelham Road; or

(b) enter or proceed in the footway adjacent to the lengths of roads specified in sub-paragraphs 2(a)(i) and (ii) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the lengths of roads specified in sub-paragraphs 2(a)(i) and (ii) above will be suspended for the duration of the works at Nos. 32-34 Pelham Road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Pedestrians affected by the footway closures should proceed via the footway opposite.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation on Friday 31 August 2018 and remain in force for 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) EASTFIELDS ROAD AND GROVE ROAD, CR4 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 3) ORDER 2018
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate level crossing barrier testing or to allow on and off tracking of track and plant and associated works at the Eastfields Road level crossing, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in Eastfields Road and Grove Road.

2. Whilst the works take place no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait, load or unload in:

(i) Eastfields Road, between its junction with Grove Road and a point 25 metres north-west of the level crossing in Eastfields Road; and

(ii) Grove Road, from its junction with Eastfields Road south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres; or

(b) enter or proceed in the lengths of road listed in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The prohibition would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

5. Pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of road would be maintained at all times.

6. Alternative routes for diverted traffic would be as follows:

(a) for vehicles from Grove Road, via Tamworth Lane, Cedars Avenue, Commonside East, Upper Green East, London Road, Raleigh Gardens, Holborn Way, London Road, Lock's Lane and Eastfields Road;

(b) for vehicles from Eastfields Road, via Lock's Lane, London Road, Upper Green East, Commonside East, Cedar Avenue, Tamworth Lane and Grove Road;

(c) for pedestrians, via the adjacent footbridge.

7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

8. Nothing in paragraph 2(b) above would apply to persons connected with the execution of the works.

9. The Order would apply from 8pm on Sunday 23 September 2018 until 6am on Sunday 7 October 2018. However, it is anticipated that the works would be carried between 8pm and 8am the following day from the 23 September 2018 until 30 September 2018 and between 11.30pm on Saturday 6th October 2018 and 6.00am on Sunday 7th October 2018.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
BERKSHIRE WAY AND GALPINS ROAD (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate road safety improvement works in Berkshire Way and Galpins Road, Thornton Heath, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter into or proceed in:-

(i) Berkshire Way, from the north-western kerb-line of Galpins Road, north- westward for a distance of 15 metres; or

(ii) Galpins Road, from its junction with South Lodge Avenue south-westward for a distance of 15 metres; or

(iii) Galpins Road, from a point 15 metres north-east of its junction with Berkshire Way to a point 15 metres south-west of its junction with Berkshire Way; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in the lengths of Berkshire Way and Galpins Road specified in sub-paragraphs (a)(i), (ii) and (iii) above.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Access to properties adjacent to the lengths of road described in paragraph 2 above or in the Galpins Road cul-de-sac would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closures should proceed using South Lodge Avenue, Yorkshire Road and Berkshire Way.

8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 10th September 2018 and remain in force until Sunday 5th May 2019. Its provisions would be introduced during that period when the works are being carried out.
