Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended) Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 Maldon District Vehicle Parking Standards Supplementary Planning Document Maldon District Statement of Community Involvement
Maldon District Council is undertaking public consultation on the draft Vehicle Parking Standards Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and the draft Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). The SPD provides further guidance on Policies T2, S5, D1, D2, H4, T1 and I1 of the Maldon District Local Development Plan regarding the Council’s approach to vehicle parking provision in new development. Once adopted, this SPD will replace the 2006 Vehicle Parking Standards SPD which will be revoked. The SCI sets out how the Council will engage with the community when preparing planning policies and determining planning applications. Once adopted, this SCI will replace the adopted 2007 SCI and its 2012 addendum, which will be revoked. The Council is seeking comments on the content of the draft SPD/SCI between 14 June and 26 July 2018. Comments should be received by 4.30pm on Thursday 26 July 2018. Inspection of documents: The consultation documents will be available for inspection on the Council’s website (www.maldon.gov.uk/spd) and at the following locations: • Maldon District Council’s offices, Princes Road, Maldon, Essex CM9 5DL (Mon-Thurs 8.30am to 5.00pm and Fri 8.30am to 4.30pm); and • Local libraries across the District (Please check Essex County Council’s website at www.essex.gov.uk for the opening hours for all local libraries). Any comments may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the adoption of the SPD/SCI.
