(Bridleway 85 Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017

(Bridleway 85, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017 Further to the notices: Under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 21 August 2017.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: to temporarily close that length of Bridleway 85, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point from a point approximately 98 metres generally west from its junction with The Gill, Hadleigh generally west for a distance of approximately 513 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26 August 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while necessary and expedient works are undertaken to install root protection and construct a new flood alleviation bund. The alternative route will be via Bridleway 85 within the woods.

The Order will come into effect on 26 August 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier. Footpath 36 Rochford A part length of Footpath 36 Rochford starting from where it connects with Footpath 40 Rochford at grid reference 58644,18950 and running in a west north westerly direction for a distance of 590 metres to grid reference 58587,18964 where it connects to the highway known as Cherry Orchard Lane will be diverted to a new alternative route commencing from where it connects to Footpath 40 at grid reference 58653,18976 and running in a west north westerly direction for a distance of 660 metres to grid reference 58588,18983 where it connects to the north end of Cherry Orchard Lane. Footpath 40 Rochford A part length of Footpath 40 Rochford starting from where it connects with Footpath 36 Rochford at grid reference 58644,18950 and running in a north north westerly direction for a distance of 70 metres to grid reference 58643,18956 and then continuing in a north north easterly direction for a distance of 195 metres to grid reference 58652,18973 will be diverted to a new alternative route, commencing from the same above point and running in a generally north north easterly direction through the field to the east of the current route, for a distance of 250 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected. A copy of the Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Rochford District Council Offices, South Street, Rochford and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours.

Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. The new path will come into effect on the date on which Essex County Council certify that the terms of the Order have been complied with. However, if any person aggrieved by the order, wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, make an application to the High Court. (Various Roads, Canvey Island, Borough of Castlepoint) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.6) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Castlepoint as specified in Schedule 1. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 24th August 2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. Access will be maintained for emergency services. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bells Hill Road, Fobbing in the District of Basildon, from its junction with Leonard Road for a distance of approximately 96m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2230129 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org . The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Bells Hill Road, Five Bells Slip Road From Southend Road Westbound, Nether Mayne, Five Bells Roundabout North, and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 7th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rose Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rose Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Long Road for a distance of approximately 48m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2017 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (NK100-SEMDPL/34/ROS/CLO – Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while complete duct works are undertaken by Virgin Media. An alternative route is available via Rose Road, Beverley Avenue, Craven Avenue, Long Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 24/08/2017
