(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Castle Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 40m southeast of its junction with High Road for a distance of proximately 25m in a south easterly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road.
The Essex County Council (Rochford) (Prohibition ofWaiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019' shall be temporarily amended to include the above restriction, all other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned order shall remain in force.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 31/05/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000918818 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Daws Heath Road, Eastwood Road, High Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Chelmsford Road, Rayleigh)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chelmsford Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Fairglen Interchange to its junction with Carpenters Arms Roundabout, a distance of approximately 1156m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18/07/2020 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (HP001S000000008691 -Balfour Beatty Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead power line dismantling works are undertaken by Balfour Beatty Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Chelmsford Road, Hawk Hill Roundabout, Turnpike Link, Rettendon Turnpike, A132 Runwell Road, Runwell Road Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way, London Road, Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way, Nevendon Road Bypass, Nevendon Road Roundabout, A127 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Lark Hill Road, Canewdon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lark Hill Road, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 140m southwest of its junction with Pudsey Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 350m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18/05/2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CA789W000WANCAL0V02 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Lark Hill Road, Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road, Brays Lane, Apton Hall Road, Scotts Hall Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 07/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Letzen Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 80m west of its junction with Thelma Avenue for a distance of approximately 15m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19/05/2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000921265 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas mains connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Sydervelt Road, Delfzul Road, Thelma Avenue and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 07/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Lower Dunton Road, Basildon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Dunton Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 270m southwest of its junction with West Mayne for a distance approximately 221m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18/05/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034831042 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead removal and installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via West Mayne, West Mayne Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road from West Mayne, A127, Southend Arterial Road, Slip Road from A128, Halfway House Roundabout, Tilbury Road, Bulphan Bypass, Brentwood Road, Doesgate Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 07/05/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.2) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping'' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition ofWaiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 07/05/2020, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Diversion 3: Thorney Bay Road, Western Esplanade, Furtherwick Road, Long Road and vice versa

Description: From the junction with Long Road to the junction with Harvest Road and from the junction with Central Wall Road to the junction with Foksville Road, a total distance of approximately 915
Alternative Route: Central Wall Road, Climmen Road, Dovervelt Road, Mitchells Avenue, High Street, Seaview Road, Eastern Esplanade, Furtherwick Road and vice versa
