BASILDON Athletics Club’s Kim Wall has been named in Great Britain’s 4x400m relay squad for the World Indoor Championships.

Wall, who is now based in Windsor, is one of six athletes who has been selected for the relay.

And she will be hoping to get the nod when the championships get underway in Doha, Qatar, on Friday, March 12.

Wall has not been selected for the individual 400m and there was no place in the squad for Pitsea-based sprint hurdler Gianni Frankis.
