JESSICA Judd has added another major championship medal to her collection – but remembers very little about it.

The 17-year-old was part of the Great Britain junior women’s team that won a gold medal at the European Cross-Country Championships in Budapest yesterday.

But the Canvey teenager passed out at the finish line where she was treated for hypothermia after feeling the effects of the minus six degrees temperature in the Hungarian capital.

“I just blacked out,” said Judd who finished 13th and was the fourth Brit home. “With about 1km to go the cold just hit me and everything stopped flowing.

“I knew I just had to make it to the finish line because I was running for the team. I’m not sure if I would have made it if I was on my own.

“I don’t remember anything of the last 600m apart from collapsing at the line. Then I woke up in the medical services with four blankets on and I could hear our national anthem being played!”
