Teens threatened in Chalkwell Park raid

TWO teens were threatened and robbed of their mobile phones during a terrifying street attack.

The victims, a girl and boy aged 16, were in Chalkwell Park when they were approached by two teenage boys.

The boys threatened them with a metal object before forcing them to hand over their mobiles.

The robbers were thought to be with four other boys.

The raid happened at 6pm on Saturday.

There seems to be repeated headlines concerning loutish behaviour in this park. How long before a major crime occurs? The police need to put in a regular presence and sort it out - NOW! There have been enough warning signs through these incidents IMHO.

Shame we can't put a couple of undercover armed police in the park with authority to shoot any scum that attempts to rob them.
