I love music but not Robbie, never have never will. I got tickets 17th October for the Royal Albert hall to watch a man who has been a singer song writer with over 500 songs he has written for many artist for well over 50 years and Robbie couldn't wipe his backside. Neil Sedaka an all time legend. Also over the years seen Tom Jones, Gene Pitney, Dusty Springfield, Connie Francis, , Al Martino, Michael Bolton, Roy Orbison, Bobby Darin, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Tony Bennett, just to name a few so if you think that I do not like music and you can put Robbie in the same league and list as these few names, then you must be stone bonkers and completely tone deaf.

Music is an individual taste. Because you don't like one type, doesn't mean it's bad. Are you a musician? I guess not. I am.
Music embraces poetry and feelings of emotion that can not be felt, in other ways. I, too, love the music of all the above and many of those, had their own problems, too, and their own way of dealing with life. I have an open mind and an admiration, to those who are, still able, to come up with new tunes, songs and arrangements that are warranted and needed for todays young people, of which a lot is superb. They have to have their own identity in the music world, as we did back then.We were very fortunate to have lived in the 60's era, but the younger person, although unaware, are relishing in the 60's and developing an extension to music for today. Only to be embraced and admired. I feel fortunate to have been a part of the 60's era and also feel fortunate to be a part of the music, today.
Good luck to Robbie and every success on September 16th, at The Cliffs.

ONLY ONE STATEMENT IS TRUE.....Neil Armstrong did walk on the moon and batman cleaned up crime in Gotham city and it was true what happened on Amity Island in 1975. Superman had a council house on the planet Krypton and Mike Baldwin did own the nicker factory in Weatherfield ..Robbie Williams can sing. Come on which statement is a porky pie.

Ha ha! Doesn't surprise me in the least. I actually watched Apollo 11 leave earths orbit through my first astro telescope, the Russians monitored them all the way there and all the way back, and we even have pics of the Apollo 11 landing site taken from a recent lunar orbiter showing all the detritus they left behind so you'd have to be an imbecile to deny it happened. No surprises there then. Apollo 11 was mankinds greatest achievement and Neil Armstrongs name will still be in the history books in a thousand years time, long after you lot are gone and forgotten. People like you make me sick.

Robbie Williams is a clown not a singer. If you think he can sing then you need your ears syringed because he is useless singing live, but in a studio they can digitally master his voice. Shame they cant digitally master your pea brain. He sings OK when George Micheal is doing unnatural thing to him ha -ha- ha -ha- ha- ha- ha- ha -ha- ha- ha

go and poll a thousand 18-25 year olds and probably only a handful could tell you who neil armstrong is. go and poll a thousand 30 - 50 year olds who robbie williams is and the overriding majority will tell you he's a smirking, neanderthal double glazing salesman.
Rubbish, not even worth a response.
But Neil Armstrong was a far better singer than Robbie Williams. If they had a poll and asked 1,000 homosexuals if Robbie can sing and all 1,000 would say NO but he makes nice groaning noises. ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha

Nice comment but Les Dawson already used that one. Queue , dont make me laugh, who would pay £2.75 including a 5 course meal with wine to watch him forget the words, sing out of tune, sing out of key, not sing in timing with the backing and stagger all over the stage ? Rampton and Broadmoor have 50 percent of the tickets as its just what they need to be punished for their crimes. If they had it on the pier then the RNLI would be picking up the suicide jumpers.

Been to Southend Cliffs 5 or 6 times in the past 10 years and this week to get a pair of sunglasses. Like you, wouldn't go there terrible violent dirty druggy place.

Music is a choice. I cant stand lots of real good singers like Jesse J but she can sing. I dont like ollie but he can sing well. As for Robbie, not only don't i like him he cant sing a note. You don't have to be tone deaf to hear him try to sing and its all out of tune.

King El asked where the Nolans are ? See em on breakfast tv about 6 weeks ago. Arfur Mullard well hes dead and Rene and renarto well I just don't know but they definatley were not in Vegas this past month. You used the word performer and thats a very sensible word from people like southchurch. Well you at last grasped thing, Robbie will never be a singer if he live to 108, but as a showman / performer YES. At last it took you 24 hours to see it ? Keep taking the medication it may speed you up.

Sooty!? Fantastic singer and far superior to Robbie Williams (must admit he was good in Mrs Doubtfire though).

I have been so impressed by Sooty that the opening theme music to his 1960s Sooty Show now features as the intro to my latest TV production 'Clown Court' starring that well known clown E-Types..

You are obviously jealous of his good looks and undeniable talent. Either that or you are trying to provoke an angry reply from one of Robbie's greatest fans, Muffindamule. I wonder if my chances of a ticket have now improved ?
good if you think simian neanderthal is an attractive look muffinder moules....
I think Muffin has a good eye. Robbie's a man's man in my opinion, chunky too. I think you are looking from the wrong perspective Beyond the Valley.
Thank you Gay Ray. Beyond the valley of the asbos comes Cottager's Rise so I'm rather surprised that Beyond the valley has not recognised Robbie's high cheekbones and proud jaw for the truly handsom features they are.
My wife, Marey, is convinced that he (Robbie) is the reincarnation of Adonis. I'm not so sure. It's a long way from Athens to Stoke-on-Trent.
Robbie is well versed in the art of cottaging that's for sure. Probably the most famous cottager after George Michael.
I doubt the Greeks would appreciate Marey's comparison to their beloved Adonis !
I don't know about that but she's just binned the tub of cottage cheese we had in the fridge !

A friend in the music business says RW is a self centred spoilt brat who demands to be the centre of attention wherever he goes, and if he's not he leaves immediately, a bit like he left his original band. We should be grateful he will leave Southend as soon as he has played his boring set.

I think that goes for a lot of celebs. They believe all of the hype written about them.

Too true.

Yes King 'El, until recently. He started with Island Records in the late70s then moved to Chrysalis. Now working independently.

I thought that might be the case. The people at EMI were a little put out after Robbie threw a fit at their Abbey Road studios when he was served a glass of coca cola in response to his request for some coke during a recording session some years ago. All only rumour of course !
